The biggy

The draw was a fair result, without doubt.

From Man United's points of view, they did blow the chance to go 6 points clear. Chelsea were totally outplayed in the first half. There were no clear cut chances by them and they didn't even have a corner in the first half. Man United were very strong down the flanks and Saha's goal was exquisite. Agak terkejut juge tgk Chelsea totally dominated by Man United. Carrick and Scholes were better in midfield I think than Lampard and Ballack in the first 45 mins. And where was the Drog? Kata score byk goal, but with Vidic around, he was nowhere near his best. Along with Carrick, I think Vidic had a very very good game.

Then in the 2nd half, Chelsea changed things around and brought on Robben, shifted Essien to right back and that changed the game. Essien was half full back, half midfielder. Robben provided natural width and Essien was bursting forward time and time again. This displays Mourinho's tactical brilliance and he got it spot on. The goal was a lucky one for Chelsea I think. Not because I am a United fan, but because Van der Sar had it covered. Terkena kepala Sahabuddin je. And I don't think Chelsea had any clear cut chances throughout the game except for some long range shots from outside the box. They are very good at setpieces and credit must be given where it's due. Memang respect dow~

True, the point gained was better for Chelsea than it is for United because Chelsea knows that with the strength and depth of their squad, United will be weakened before they do as the season goes on. Even if they lost the game, I do not think Mourinho will be worried too much because of the depth and quality of their squad.

But what Chelsea should be worried about is this.

Despite all the money and big stars that they have, United were a match for them. With the players that they have, a neutral would have expected Chelsea to win this. Bear in mind that United could have doubled the lead and even tripled it if not for two missed chances that should have been able to be tucked away if Van Nistelrooy was still around to do the tap-ins.

Despite the Ballacks, Shevas, Essiens, and Drogbas, United gave them a timely reminder that it's business as usual at Old Trafford and the Blues are about to be pushed all the way come May...

Selamat.
